I am currently a Lecturer at Dept. of Psychology, BBU. My research interests include psychosocial correlates of eating habits and adherence to treatment, as well as the correlates and processes of self-regulation of health behaviors. I have been a member of numerous European projects, including FP7 and, recently Horizon 2020, among which “Temptations to eat moderated by personal and environmental self-regulatory tools (2009-2013) (FP7); Healthy eating and physical activity: increasing access to high quality primary prevention services for children and adolescents in Romania (2009-2011) (Norway Innovation grant) and Health behaviors in shool-aged children are directly related to the present proposal. I am a member of Health Psychology Laboratory since 2008.

I am a Ph.D. student in Doctoral School of Applied Cognitive Psychology at Babeș-Bolyai University, with a thesis on understanding and overcoming barriers to organ donation. My training includes a bachelor degree in Psychology and a master degree in Health Psychology from Babeș-Bolyai University. My research focuses on 1) understanding public attitudes and behaviors towards organ donation, 2) how the mass media frames organ donation and the effects of that framing on public attitudes and behaviors, and 3) the design and evaluation of persuasive messages that may increase donor registration. Additionally, I am interested in investigating the effects of social images on consumption behaviors of sweet or salted hypercaloric foods (AHDS). I am a member of the Health Psychology Laboratory since 2012.
Delia Cristescu (doctorand)
I am a second year PhD student in Doctoral School of Applied Cognitive Psychology at Babeș-Bolyai University. My thesis is focused on the effects of exposure to adverse childhood experiences on emotion regulation and social functioning in adolescence. My training also includes a bachelor degree in Psychology and a master degree in Health Psychology. Other research interests are stress-induced eating and food marketing strategies. I am a member of the Health Psychology Laboratory since 2012.
